The video above, created by Enki Tovuuch, features all of the artists and culminating projects of the projection mapping workshop at CSU Summer Arts.
An interactive projection mapping. Along with animation and live generative visuals, we assigned colors to piano keys using MIDI synchronization. The piano octaves are divided into lows, mids, and highs, and the colors are projected on the tower accordingly.
Viewers can come and play the keyboard live, producing color effects which are mapped to the box tower using a projector. There is also a prerecorded music set where colors sync to the song in different arrangements.
Marilee - concept, prerecorded MIDI sequencing, color schemes, projection mapping
Zachary Daulton - keyboard MIDI program designer, projection mapping
Rick Paz - generative visual programming, shape & color animations
"Don't Fear" - MAPS
"The Feeling Comes and Goes" - Am-Boy
